We start at the ranger station in Schanze and continue under the "Krummstab/ Nikolausstab", along the sculpture "Kein leichtes Spiel" to the sculpture "Stein - Zeit - Mensch". From there it's down to the suspension bridge and through wintry deciduous and coniferous forests back to Schanze.

Arrival In the Schmallenberg district, turn off at the crossroads to Schanze. The ranger station cannot be reached directly by car. Use the hiking parking lot at the entrance to the village. Parking Use the hikers' parking lot at the entrance to Schanze and walk to the ranger station. There are no parking facilities at the ranger station. Public transportation The Ismo 466 line runs here and must be booked at least 30 minutes in advance.
