Poetry Slam

A hall that couldn't stop cheering, the atmosphere was boiling. There was laughter, tears were shed, horizons were broadened and perspectives were opened up - all in just two hours. This is poetry slam! The modern entertainment format combines the best of comedy, poetry, social criticism, poetry and slapstick and transforms every stage into a true spectacle of entertainment art. And best of all: YOU, the audience, get to decide in this competition who you thought was good and what is more likely to be something for the dustbin. The upcoming show is under a very special star, because the unique concept "Südwestfalen-Tour" is making a stop at the Stadthalle. 4 of the most renowned and popular slam poets from all over the German-speaking world will travel to humble Attendorn and
to present a show that is second to none.
In addition, an invited guest will even write a text just about the district of Olpe and perform it on the evening. The presenter will focus mainly on the Olpe district and will show the audience with fun facts and perhaps also small quiz interludes: it doesn't always have to be the Ruhrgebiet or Düsseldorf or Cologne. Südwestfalen has a lot to offer! And that's something to be proud of!
