On Open Monument Day, some special monuments that are otherwise closed open their doors. The motto for 2026 is:
" NetzWERKE: Monuments & Infrastructure"

The following monuments have already confirmed their attendance:
  • Guided tour of three of the more than 30 former main estates of Meschede Abbey.
    1 p.m.: Drasenbeck Estate
    2 p.m.: Horbach Estate
    3 p.m.: Stockhausen Estate

  • Schüren Historical Flying School (see page 26)
