A touching and at the same time humorous North German story based on the novel by Dörte Hansen with the ensemble of the Ohnsorg Theater Hamburg.
Vera Eckhoff fled East Prussia on foot with her mother when she was a little girl. They ended up stranded on a farm in the Altes Land. Between apple and cherry trees, surrounded by suspicious villagers, mother and daughter worked hard on the old farm south of the Elbe. When her mother left her for a better life in Hamburg, Vera stayed behind in her new home, which was to remain a stranger to her. Decades later, two home seekers suddenly appear on the doorstep again: Vera's niece Anne and her son Leon are on the run, fleeing life in Hamburg-Ottensen, early musical education and latte macchiato mothers. In the end, the two women find each other and something they never really wanted: a family.

This event is accompanied by an introduction to the play with Linda Keil at 6.15 pm in the auditorium.
