Movie night - "Flight, arrival and home"

On this evening, we will be showing two impressive films by filmmaker Maren Hahnfeld about flight, arrival and home. The films tell moving stories of women who had to leave their homeland, about their paths and hopes and their arrival here in Altena (and on the island of Föhr). We recognize our beautiful town and meet people we (perhaps) also know. We experience the turmoil in the new homeland, the challenges, the reasons why the journey was taken on, but also the new encounters and friendships.
After the film screening, we look forward to exchanging ideas and talking with you over a glass of wine. The director Maren Hahnfeld will be on site. A selection of Rose's sculptures from the film "A Grave at the Border" will be on display.
