After a detailed tour of a mining area and the full wagon circulation in the visitor mine, you can fortify yourself with a rustic snack in our underground butter barn. Then it's off to the most adventurous part of our tour, the Bandberg. We only get to know this somewhat "untidy" part of the visitor mine by the light of a head torch. Depending on the weather, we walk back to the museum via the Willibald Halden or take the mine train via the Eickhoff gallery.
A basic level of physical fitness and the ability to walk on uneven paths in low light is a prerequisite for participation.
Please wear sturdy shoes and warm clothing that can also get a little dirty.
