Marionette stage Mummenschanz - "Der Brandner Kaspar"

In 2026, the Mummenschanz puppet theater, partner of the Kulturring Altena, presents its new play "Der Brandnar Kaspar". Since 2008, the stage has been delighting audiences with fascinating performances, whose sustained applause is both confirmation and motivation. In September, their play "Die lustigen Weiber von Altena" was shown in an abridged version at the Fritz Worttelmann Prize of FIDENA in Bochum - a special honor among 48 applications.

About the new program: His last hour has come. But because he is not at all happy with his departure... at least not yet... he, the Brandner Kasper, tries to scam a few more years of life out of death with schnapps and a game of cards. This of course causes confusion... and even the heavenly bookkeeping gets mixed up.

The Mummenschanz puppet theater adapts the 1871 story of Brandner Kasper by Franz von Kobell for puppet theater in a comedic and poetic way. For people aged 10 and over.
