More than a month before the general end of the war on 8 May 1945, the Americans had already marched into Lippstadt on 1 April. The diary of one of Lippstadt's contemporaries impressively describes how the inhabitants experienced and felt during this time of emergency. Dr. Claudia Becker and Anna Roscales will report from these records on Friday, 23.05.2025, from 19.00 hrs.
