Lennestadt shines, fall market & street food festival

A colorful program for the whole family will once again take place at various locations in Lennestadt this weekend. Special light, great illuminations of various buildings and monuments, an autumn market with Sunday shopping, events organized by individual village communities and a street food festival... There's something for everyone here.

Created during the coronavirus pandemic and then developed into a visual and emotional highlight: for three days, Lennestadt's cultural monuments are illuminated in colorful and wacky light displays for "Lennestadt Leuchtet". The Meggen pyramids, the KulturBahnhof Grevenbrück, the churches and ornate half-timbered houses and many other monuments are transformed into light. A walk through the TalVITAL spa gardens in Saalhausen is a special experience: with drinks, snacks, music and a great atmosphere, you can immerse yourself in a colorful, enchanted fairytale forest! On the same weekend, Altenhundem accompanies the light event with the Streetfood Festival and a Sunday open for business from 1-6 pm.
