In 1991, Ronen Koresh founded the Koresh Dance Company named after him, which offers audiences a rousing, intense experience with a variety of dance works. His choreographies are characterized by an energetic interplay of different styles. Elements of classical ballet, modern and jazz dance merge with Israeli and American folk dance traditions to form the unique Koresh style, which is characterized by emotion, expressiveness, technical virtuosity and rhythmic precision.
The technically outstanding company dancers perform breathtaking changes in rhythm and dynamics. Coupled with astonishing choreographic ideas, the audience experiences an intense production full of emotional depth.
Their acclaimed productions have been presented in Koresh's native Israel, as well as in Europe, South Korea and South America. In addition to Koresh's own works, the company also presents choreographies by internationally renowned guest choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Robert Battle and Paul Selwyn Norton.
The company and its 15 performers are touring Germany for the first time
