In 1991, Ronen Koresh founded the Koresh Dance Company, named after him, which offers audiences a thrilling, intense experience through a variety of dance works. His choreography is characterized by an energetic interplay of diverse styles. Elements of classical ballet, modern dance, and jazz dance blend with Israeli and American folk dance traditions, giving rise to the unique Koresh style—a style that captivates with its emotion, expressiveness, technical virtuosity, and rhythmic precision.
The company’s technically outstanding dancers execute breathtaking shifts in rhythm and dynamics during their performances. Combined with astonishing choreographic ideas, the audience experiences an intense production full of emotional depth.
Their acclaimed productions have been presented in Koresh’s native Israel, as well as in Europe, South Korea, and South America. In addition to Koresh’s own works, the company also performs choreographies by internationally renowned guest choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Robert Battle, and Paul Selwyn Norton.
The company, with its 15 performers, is touring Germany for the first time
