Cycle, experience music, relax and enjoy: On the last Sunday of the summer vacations, the Lippstadt Jazz Club is organizing a leisurely bike ride through the countryside from 4 pm - starting from Rathausplatz - followed by a jazz concert in the beautiful T8 studio garden in Dedinghausen. From 17:00, the stage will be theirs: The Jazz Sisters! When four women decide to give jazz from the past 80 years a few new colors, the result is a sound that grooves straight to the heart - charmingly accompanied by short, lively moderations.
The focus is on the warm, versatile voice of Juliane Schaper, carried by the fine guitar playing of Katrin Zurborg, the earthy double bass of Nina Hacker and the energetic groove of Uta Wagner on drums, irresistibly complete with three-part background choirs. Sometimes powerful, sometimes tender, sometimes playful, sometimes spirited: music that smiles - and hits the heart in the next moment.
