This year, for the 48th time, International Museum Day is offering museums across Germany and around the world the opportunity to present their diversity and the broad spectrum of their work under the motto #museenentdecken.
Westfalen Salzwelten also invites visitors to rediscover salt in all its facets, meanings and uses. In addition to the permanent exhibition, visitors can look forward to a varied program of guided tours and workshops about the white gold, including a wellness workshop where individual scrubs and soaps can be made, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission to the Salzwelten is free of charge on this day.
