Interesting insights into the Willingen underworld

Under expert guidance, you will gain an insight into the working methods of the miners, the formation of roofing slate and the production of slates in the visitor mine.
Note: Sturdy footwear is recommended. The floor in the mine is paved and can be wet depending on the weather. Access to the mine is via a relatively short flight of steps, the circular route to the exit is level. The temperature in the mine is around 8°C all year round.

The guided tours take place at the following times and last 60 - 70 minutes:
April to October:
Wednesday - Saturday:

Sunday:

November to March:
Wednesday - Sunday:
10:30 am
