Bad Fredeburg g.u.t. Gewerbe und Touristik e.V. offers a guided tour of the Court Museum. This museum, which is unique in North Rhine-Westphalia, displays props from the history of justice. For example, there is a prison cell with original furnishings, a historic judge's chair, old office furniture and a library.
"The guided tour through the court museum takes you on an exciting journey through the jurisdictions of past centuries. From the women's court of the Middle Ages to a dungeon and the working world in the courts of the 20th century, there is much to discover, both gruesome and amusing," says the invitation.
The meeting point is at the district court, Im Ohl 6, and admission is free. Registration by Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Bad Fredeburg Tourist Information Office on 02974/7037 or info@bad-fredeburg.de
