Until October, you can take part in a public guided tour every day at 2:30 pm and visit and experience one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Waldeck-Frankenberg: the double-towered Romanesque monastery complex of Flechtdorf Abbey. Take a look behind the meter-high walls, into enchanted corners and hidden rooms and listen to and learn more about the eventful history of the building.
Afterwards you can enjoy home-baked cakes, coffee, snacks and cold drinks in the cosy atmosphere of the monastery café. The monastery café welcomes you from 2 p.m.
