This tour provides the most comprehensive information on the history and technology of the more than 100-year-old structure. After an introduction on the top of the dam, the route leads past the Möhne disaster memorial to the foot of the structure. Participants then descend further into the control tunnel inside the dam wall and experience the dam's mechanism at first hand. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
