The GOODBEATS formed in Paderborn in 2012. The musicians currently play around 100 shows a year. They are so popular that they have even been flown to New York and Barcelona for concerts. In 2017, the American edition of Vogue reported on the band.
Frontman Thilo Pohlschmidt has been on stage with professional musicians since the age of 12. As a 13-year-old, he shared a stage with the "high priest of soul" Ray Charles. An impressive experience that sparked his enthusiasm for the American soul and funk music of the 70s, "The band did an amazing job getting everyone on the dance floor" (VOGUE).
