Every year in winter, Willingen takes center stage in the world of sport when the best ski jumpers in the world compete on the Mühlenkopf ski jump. Anyone attending this event up close for the first time will often be left breathless when they see the ski eagles go over the bakken of the world's largest ski jump and fly far down into the valley.
Experience the gigantic atmosphere on the Mühlenkopf and feel the goosebumps when the ski jumpers are cheered on and accompanied down with a collective "Zieeeeeeeeeeh" from over 20,000 throats. And it goes a long way down: The hill record of 155.5 meters has been held by Norwegian ski jumper Johann Andre Forfang since 2024.
The coveted tickets are always sold by Willingen Ski Club from the beginning of October.
