Start and finish: Waldfestplatz behind the Saalhausen sports field next to the Wagenbauhalle.

For a small entry fee, families and groups as well as individual hikers and Nordic walkers can purchase hiking passes, which are stamped at individual stations.
There are two walking routes of around 12 and 18 kilometers as well as a children's and family route of 6 kilometers to choose from. There are two refreshment and control stations along the way.
Food and drink will also be provided at the start/finish point at the Waldfestplatz. Barbecue specialties, pea soup, cake and coffee in the afternoon and cold drinks are available. After the hike, there will be a big party at the Waldfestplatz.
