A pinch of salt - baking during the Easter vacations

The baker has called! During the Easter vacations, the Salzwelten will become a bakery and the children will discover why salt plays such an important role. Together, the children look at what baking powder has to do with salt, what happens when you leave out ingredients and how you can bake delicious things together using simple recipes.

Together, the budding master bakers learn how salt enhances the taste, makes the dough perfect and even helps the yeast to work. It's not for nothing that salt is one of the seven things you need to bake a delicious cake.

For children aged 6 to 12.
