Oliver Jaeger takes us on a musical journey through Spain and Portugal to Latin America, inspired by flamenco, fado, tango and classical music. This sounds like a picture of dunes, white villages, olive groves, bizarre rocks, evokes the scent of citrus fruit and lavender, as well as the memory of mild and starry summer nights by the sea. In his program "Sternenklang über dem Atlantik" he plays Spanish guitar and the - in the truest sense of the word - unique symphonetta. This accordion-like instrument was popular until the 1930s, but has fallen into oblivion. As a soloist on both instruments, he combines different musical styles full of joy and passion to create an exciting and varied performance.
