️ Balve is cycling for climate protection again!
In 2026, the town of Balve is once again taking part in the Climate Alliance's CITY CYCLING - the world's largest campaign for more cycling, climate protection and quality of life.
May 25 to June 14, 2026
For three weeks, the motto is: Leave your car at home and get on your bike! Whether for work, shopping or leisure - every kilometer counts. Together, we want to cover as many everyday routes as possible in a climate-friendly way and show how easy sustainable mobility can be.
Strong result in the Märkisch district:
Last year, over 4,000 participants cycled around 800,000 kilometers and saved around 130 tons of CO₂ in the process - an impressive achievement!
Balve would like to build on this this year and set an example for climate protection together with all citizens.
Join in now and collect kilometers!
Our tip:
Whether club, company or circle of friends - form teams! This provides additional motivation and makes CITY CYCLING a real community experience.
