Paul (Jean Dujardin) is an ordinary man who divides his life between his shipbuilding business and his family. On a sea voyage, however, he encounters a mysterious weather phenomenon. From that moment on, his body begins to shrink steadily - a process for which science provides no explanation. Eventually, he finds himself tiny in his own basement, where even everyday objects become a deadly threat.
