Agathe (Camille Rutherford) works in a bookshop and knows the right Jane Austen recommendation for every situation. While she dreams of being a writer herself, her best friend Félix (Pablo Pauly) secretly enters the first chapters of her novel in a competition - with success: Agathe wins a stay at the "Jane Austen Writers' Residency". At the historic country estate, her romance novel is to take shape between tea parties and literary exchanges. But the kiss that Félix gives her shortly before her departure throws her off course, as does her new neighbor: Oliver (Charlie Anson), a descendant of Jane Austen who has little time for heartache (France 2024, tragicomedy, 94 minutes, FSK 0).
