The cosy Christmas village in Altenhundem, located directly below the church on the market square, is a symbol of community and always opens its doors on the 1st weekend in Advent.
The Altenhundem Action Ring, various Altenhundem associations and social institutions work together on a voluntary basis to create a romantic Christmas village. The market square is decorated for Christmas and invites you to relax and linger with self-built wooden huts, soft wood chips and Christmas music.
