Ida (Emilia Maier) receives a temporary visit from her friend Miriam (Tomomi Themann), who is allowed to attend Winterstein School with her - without suspecting that magic is part of everyday school life there. Surprisingly, she receives her magical animal, the leprechaun Fitzgeraldo, from Mr. Morrison (Milan Peschel) on her very first day. But the Winterstein School is in danger: it is to be closed.
