The four-piece group's repertoire includes not only swing classics by George Gershwin, chansons by Edith Piaf and pop by MECANO, Shirley Bassie and others, but also Yiddish, Hebrew and Sephardic songs as well as songs by Jewish composers such as Sholom Secunda, Friedrich Hollaender and Amy Winehouse.
Front woman Christiane Hagedorn (voc, vl) navigates as a charming 'tour guide' between numerous languages and musical styles with somnambulistic certainty and astonishing authenticity and also feeds her travel group with little anecdotes and curiosities from time to time...
