From February 1 to March 15, 2026, Margit Heuser's gallery will be showing the exhibition "Tierisch gut" (Beastly good). On display are drawings and paintings of animals of all kinds - realistic or abstract, quietly observed or powerfully interpreted.
The exhibition combines different artistic styles and perspectives. Sometimes the focus is on familiar pets, sometimes on wild animals or free, abstract forms that show more emotion than likeness. What all the works have in common is an intensive examination of the animal as a motif - as a counterpart, symbol or mirror of human emotions.
"Tierisch gut" invites visitors to rediscover animals and engage with surprising perspectives. The exhibition is aimed at those interested in art as well as the curious with a desire for color, form and imagination.
The artists are from the region and beyond:
Karin Nöckel, Petra Kober, Brigitte Hoffmann, Carmen Grau, Monika Voss, Dagmar Mader, Margit Heuser, Inge Kümperling, Dr. Sabine Reyer, Sabine Helsper-Müller, Barbara Mertens, Simone Weber, Elke Hies, Tina Leifels, Gaby Tepel, Friedel Kaiser
