AHE OPEN AIR at the start of the pilgrimage season

Traditionally, the pilgrimage season on Kohlhagen begins on May 1st. Following the solemn high mass at 10:00 a.m. with the blessing of the vehicles, the Brachthausen marching band marches together with the churchgoers towards Gut Ahe.

The "AHE OPEN AIR" morning pint concert starts there at 11:00 am. You can look forward to brass band music, good entertainment and culinary delights for young and old. Families will also get their money's worth: there are numerous opportunities for children to play and explore at Gut Ahe.

In addition to pilgrims, hiking enthusiasts are also warmly invited to spend May 1st in the traditional way - with or without a handcart.
