Enchanting Christmas decorations and unusual gift ideas for every occasion as far as the eye can see - that's what the Advent creative market at the Bad Sassendorf Conference and Congress Center is all about. Numerous exhibitors will be offering their wares on Saturday, November 14, 2026, between 11.00 and 18.00 and Sunday, November 15, 2026, between 13.00 and 18.00 in both the outdoor and indoor areas.

"Handicrafts and handicrafts are still in vogue across generations. Because handicrafts make people happy and are an ideal way to balance out the otherwise hectic pace of everyday life," explains Jessica Hartmann, Managing Director of Tagungs- und Kongresszentrum GmbH.

You can see the results at the creative market. Whether made from paper, wood, raysin, ceramics, wire, natural materials or concrete, macramé, wool or fabric, visitors can look forward to, among other things Advent wreaths and arrangements, various decorations made from different materials, hand-decorated candles and candle holders, cards and gift wrapping, hand-sewn and hand-knitted items, leather purses and bags, jewelry made from natural pearls and gemstones, lavender sachets, care products (ointments, creams), children's clothing and toys, plotted textiles, laser engravings, paintings and much more. - All interpreted in a modern way to contradict the dusty image of "handicrafts".

To underline the festive and cozy atmosphere in the conference center and for refreshments in between, the waffle café invites you. For those who prefer something savory, a sausage trolley will be available in the outdoor area.
