Enchanting Christmas decorations and unusual gift ideas for every occasion as far as the eye can see - that's what the Advent creative market at the Bad Sassendorf Conference and Congress Center is all about. Numerous exhibitors will be offering their wares both indoors and outdoors on Saturday, November 15, 2025, between 11:00 and 18:00 and Sunday, November 16, 2025, between 13:00 and 18:00.

"Crafts and handicrafts are still in vogue. After all, handicrafts make people happy and are an ideal balance to the otherwise hectic pace of everyday life," explains Britta Keusch, Managing Director of Tagungs- und Kongresszentrum GmbH. "In our fast-moving times, we simply want to take a break. For many, craftsmanship is an aid to meditation; strength and thoughts flow into the materials to be processed," she adds.

The resulting products can be seen at the creative market: Whether wool, paper, wood, raysin and concrete or finished products - visitors can look forward to Advent wreaths and flower arrangements, Christmas decorations made from various materials, hand-decorated candles and candle holders, cards and gift wrapping, self-sewn fabric items, porcelain painting, hand-knitted jackets and ponchos, matching brooches, handmade jewelry made from natural pearls, gemstones, lavender sachets, leather purses and bags, wooden toys and much more.and much more.

The waffle café offers refreshments in between, while a sausage trolley is available outside for those who prefer something savory. Admission: €2.00 (children up to 15 years free).
