"Accordion meets dolce vita and disco fever" is the new title of the concert by the Hagen Accordion Orchestra on Sunday, October 25, 2026, 3.30 pm in the Kulturscheune Bad Sassendorf.

The program includes some top hits from the Italopop scene, including "Sará perche" by Ricchi e Poveri, "Cosi celeste" by Zucchero, "Sempre, sempre" by Albano & Romina Power, "Un'estate italiana", "Tornero", "Felicitá" and many more, but also hits by Roland Kaiser, Boney M, Tina Turner etc.,

The Hagen Accordion Orchestra, which has been in existence for 45 years under the long-standing direction of Jürgen Lollert, has set itself the task of doing away with the usual clichés about the accordion, e.g. that it can only be used to accompany sea shanties, folk music and similar styles of music. The audience can expect a colorful mix with various "catchy tunes" from different musical genres.

The orchestra consists of approx. 16 musicians, including 12 accordionists, 1 melody keyboard, 1 bass keyboard, guitar and drums. Without changing the typical accordion sound, this ensures a diverse sound orientation.
