Experience Shinrin Yoku in spring
Immerse yourself in the soothing, calming forest atmosphere. Experience mindful sensory experiences. Consciously slow down. Find inner peace in the moment. Enjoy the beautiful green of the forest. Recharge your energy reserves. Awaken creativity and curiosity. Observe in silence. This and much more is Shinrin Yoku. It originates from Japan, where this moderate form of visiting the forest without haste has even been recognized as a health-promoting measure since the 1980s. The forest air is enriched with plant messengers that can have a positive effect on the various functions of our body and mind. The mindful exercises are accompanied by gentle invitations to move in order to activate the muscles. Breathing deepens and coordination can improve. In short: a revitalizing time outdoors in the forest. No previous experience is required. An average level of physical fitness is sufficient. Sure-footedness on forest paths is a prerequisite. What to bring: Drinks, a handy seat pad, clothing suitable for the weather (onion look recommended, we are walking slowly), footwear suitable for the forest (for muddy paths if necessary) and sun, mosquito and/or tick protection if necessary. A postponement is possible in the event of thunderstorms, heavy continuous rain, storms, forestry work or driven hunts. To ensure a punctual start, please be at the meeting point five minutes before the start.
