4 cities and 3 rivers cycle tour

Our joint cycle tour takes us through four towns in Hochsauerland: Olsberg - Bestwig -Schmallenberg - Winterberg and back to Olsberg.
We start at the confluence of the Ruhr and Gierskoppbach rivers, at the OLSBERG tourist information building. We cycle the first few kilometers downstream along the Ruhr. From BESTWIG, we follow the Valme river.
At the visitor mine in Ramsbeck, we briefly say "Glück Auf" and turn off towards the campsite at the end of the village.
The path now becomes a little steeper. We touch the urban area of SCHMALLENBERG near Bödefeld. Shortly before WINTERBERG-Altenfeld, we reach the first
high point of the tour. We continue through fields and forests to Siedlinghausen, from here we follow the River Neger.
There are more former mining pits along our route. We cycle the
last section back to Olsberg on the Ruhrtal RadWeg.
