The Sauerland stands for unforgettable nature experiences and offers a wide range of leisure activities from action-packed to relaxed. The great popularity of the region is reflected not least by the almost eight million overnight stays each year. From now on, Sauerlanders and Sauerland lovers can express their love for "Germany's inspiring outdoor region" in the form of clothing and accessories.
"The Sauerland has enormous potential for identification, stands for breathtaking natural moments and the Sauerlanders are proud of their region," emphasizes Jannik Müller, Deputy Managing Director of Sauerland Tourism. However, non-Sauerlanders, namely the countless day trippers and holidaymakers, now also have the opportunity to order a suitable souvenir of their time out in NRW's most popular tourist destination to take home.
"In the past, we were repeatedly asked why we didn't yet offer items in an online store. Now, with our theme-specific labels, we have the perfect designs for implementation." Anyone looking at the website will find a wide range of templates - gravel biking, hiking or the Sauerland-Seen are just a few examples. The sustainability aspect was also taken into consideration. "This was particularly important to us during implementation, as we are currently in the process of being certified as a 'sustainable travel destination' via TourCert and wanted to take this idea into account in our online store," Müller continues.
The #deinsauerland online store is now available at www.sauerland.com/shop and those responsible have come up with a little special for the launch. For the first few days, there is a 15% discount on all orders.
