#Ausblicke Schwalefeld - Rattlar (3.5 km, 101 m) Time for the soul: the forest like a cathedral. The swaying landscape provides insights and views of the peaks and valleys of life. The view sweeps far across the landscape, constantly revealing new perspectives. Selected Bible verses provide spiritual inspiration and encourage you to reflect on what traces life has left on you and what you want to leave in the world. Changing landscapes support this perception. Route description: From the pilgrims' church, the path leads down to the village of Schwalefeld and past the old church hall. You cross the Aarbach and then hike uphill to the Frankenpfad. Enjoy the wonderful views. After the hill, you will see Rattlar with its small village church, the Lichterkirche. 10 stops, parking: at the pilgrimage church #Pilgrimage is an adventure!Being on the move, running, asking questions, discovering new things and finding answers: Children are always on the move and constantly searching. The Upland Children's Pilgrimage Trail stages the biblical story of Noah, his ark and the many animals as a kind of treasure hunt. Six animals have to be "rescued" and brought to the Church of Lights in Rattlar. There, the aim is to find the right partner for each animal. Those who get everything right will receive a "medial surprise". Start: Pilgrims' Church in Schwalefeld. Here you will find paper and pencils for the "rescue of the animals". Destination: Church of Lights in Rattlar. The digital search for the right animals begins on the monitor. #Perlen des Glaubens Rattlar - Usseln (5.1 km, 120 m)God - I - Baptism - Desert - Serenity - Love - Mystery - Night - Resurrection - God - and in between again and again: Silence. Bishop Lönnebo from Sweden developed this string of pearls as a guide to meditation and reflection. The whole spectrum of life and faith is condensed in this volume. Station signs introduce each bead and its meaning and provide food for thought for the next part of the journey. When a storm comes that slows life down, let the beads glide through your hands and follow the thoughts in the book. Route description: From the Church of Lights, the trail leads you through Rattlar, up the valley to magnificent viewpoints. You hike past the Christenbörnchen in Upland. According to legend, St. Sturmius baptized Christians at this spring in the 8th century. This is why baptism festivals are held here in summer. The destination of the trail is St. Kilian's Church in Usseln, the mother church of Upland. 15 stops, parking: at the Lichterkirche church #Aufbrüche Usseln - Willingen (6.2 km, 159 m)Old hours, old days you leave hesitantly behind. They are as familiar to you as old clothes, through suffering and happiness. Set off, break free, venture new paths. How tempting and yet so difficult. It takes courage to take the first steps. This section would like to take you along and accompany you. It asks questions and provides tips to encourage you to perceive and recognize. Recognizing is the first step towards change. Set off and find yourself. Directions: Turn left at the Kilianskirche church and cross the main road. Sportstraße leads you to the swimming pool. Shortly before this, a small signposted path takes you up to the petrol station. The hiking trail then leads you through meadows and woodland sections and under the imposing viaduct, Willingen's landmark, to the Protestant church. 9 stops, parking: Sportstraße (Schützenhalle/Freibad)#Enjoy Willingen - Schwalefeld with all your senses (2.6 km, 2 m)"The senses are like a bridge from seeing to looking, from hearing to listening, from seeing to being touched." (Peter Müller) You take in your surroundings. (Peter Müller) You perceive your surroundings in a completely new way. The grass waving in the wind, the sun shining through the canopy, the rustling leaves, the friendly faces of the people you meet. What you see, hear or smell will connect with what you feel, what you remember and what touches you. Route description: The hike begins at the Protestant church in Willingen. You cross the main road and pass through a wooded area and dark valleys to green meadows. The pilgrimage church in Schwalefeld is both the start and end of the pilgrimage trail. If you like, you can now walk along the path laid out with wood chips. The stations lead through the church interior, each corresponding to an element of worship. The sound of rippling water, soft music and the smell of fresh wood accompany you along the way. 7 stations, parking: Willingen town center #Coexistence of religions Usseln - Schwalefeld (2.7 km, 32 m elevation gain) - Interreligious Peace TrailWe live in a world of open borders. Work colleagues, neighbors or schoolmates often belong to a different culture or religion. There are more and more mixed-religious partnerships. Religious penetration is progressing. The Interreligious Peace Path brings people together. It allows Jews, Muslims, Christians and Bahai to find a loving, peaceful and dignified coexistence. Nature serves as a source of strength. Selected spiritual quotes inspire reflection and allow you to discover common ground. Route description: This route begins at the fork in the path where the previous section of the trail, "Aufbrüche", turns off from Usseln down into the village of Willingen. It continues straight ahead on a panoramic path with many views of Willingen, past the Orenbergschanze and up to the memorial. After a hairpin bend, the trail turns right from the paved road onto a forest path and rejoins the Besinnungsweg just before Schwalefeld. Turn left to Willingen approx. 2 km, turn right to Schwalefeld pilgrimage church, 0.8 km) 7 stops, parking: under the viaduct, Willingen
