Directions
The hike leads from Heinrich-Köppler-Platz through the Sonnenpfad and further along the paved path (X 27), up to the Braken-Hütte, along the paved path above the Sonnenpfad to the Schützenhalle and back to the starting point.
Equipment
Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended!

A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and hiking signs.

Bus route S40 from Schmallenberg - Grafschaft to Winterberg - Niedersfeld
How to get there
From Schmallenberg Oberkirchen, take the L640 and turn left in Inderlenne onto the K18 towards Nordenau. From Winterberg, take the B236 and turn onto the K18 towards Altastenberg and stay on this road until Nordenau.
Parking
Parking is available at the church in the center of the village.
