Mouflon trail (mouflon adventure trail)

You start at the parking lot in the "Mein Homberg" ski area in Züschen. Right at the start, you climb the first few meters in altitude parallel to the toboggan slope and enjoy the view from the mountain station down into the valley to the climatic health resort of Züschen, as well as the challenging Ziegenhellenski slope (750 m) on the other side. You can then enjoy nature on near-natural paths past a wide variety of forest and tree species. At 4-5 stations, you will learn and experience lots of interesting facts about mouflon, explained in a very interesting and child-friendly way. You will now head up to the Radenstein at an altitude of 743 m. Here you walk for approx. 45 minutes directly along the border to the Hallenberg urban area. Passing old charcoal-burning sites, you hike around the Radenstein, keeping to the left, through the magnificent beech forest back towards the ski area. Here you reach your destination through spruce and beech trees down to the Hombergjause between the main ski lift and the toboggan slope.
