The trail leads through beautiful woodland and meadows, through rocky areas, past slopes, along a beautiful stream valley and through a tunnel of hedges, bushes and trees.
We recommend sturdy shoes and sufficient provisions for your hike.
A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and on hiking signs.
In winter, the Hardt Adventure Trail is full of Christmas spirit. The trail is decorated for Christmas at this time of year.
In Arpe there are only a few buses on route 467.
A limited number of parking spaces are available at the village hall in Arpe.
