The H3 is 4.8 km long and begins at the parking lot of the tourist information office in Heringhausen.

It winds its way around the Schörenberg and the Esten Berg, offering beautiful views along the way. The best way to start the H3 is to take the small path uphill to the left of the church up to Rasenbergweg and follow the H3 from there. The trail consists of paved, natural, and unpaved paths and is one of the easier hikes here at Diemelsee.

The landscapes around Lake Diemelsee invite you to linger and explore.
