The landscape around the circular hiking trail in the 'Glockengrund' nature reserve is something special. It bears witness to old farming methods and is home to many animals and plants that need protection. The North Rhine-Westphalia Foundation and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia have set themselves the goal of preserving this natural and cultural heritage. It is managed on a voluntary basis by the Association for Nature and Bird Conservation in the HSK (VNV).
