Dreggestobe and Cultural Center with Museum Café in Medebach-Düdinghausen

At the Heimathaus Pastoren Scheune in Medebach-Düdinghausen, demonstrations of woodturning—creating plates, bowls, and other decorative objects—are held in the historic Dreggestobe.

Waffles and cakes are available at the Heimathaus’s Kulturspeicher.

Welcome to the Pastor's Barn

We invite you on a journey of discovery through the rich and varied history of our village. In the woodturning museum, our woodturners make the shavings fly. At the Kulturspeicher—which features a museum café—exhibits bring the abandoned village of Wieferinghausen and the Free County of Düdinghausen, with their religious conflicts, back to life. In the village, the Freistuhl, the church, house plaques, and quarries featuring geological themes round out the experience.

April through October, Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Woodturning demonstrations, as well as guided tours of the historic church and the village’s historical walking tour, are available at any time by special arrangement.
