The Völlinghausen Wildlife Park invites visitors to feed and spend time with goats, sheep, red deer, fallow deer, and sika deer. Visitors can discover new things at the Wildlife Park House, which features a xylotheque, impressive taxidermy displays, and nature-inspired games.
The wildlife park is the centerpiece of the Völlinghausen Nature Experience Area, which also includes a forest bee station, an orchard meadow with a new insect hotel, a dendrarium, and a landscape of pollarded willows. The individual stations are perfect for exploring on a leisurely walk.
The Wildlife Park Visitor Center is open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the wildlife park itself is open year-round and free of charge.
