The hiking parking lot is distinguished by its central location—situated at the foot of the Rothaarsteig, it serves as the starting point for many hikes, such as those to Schmallenberg, Jagdhaus, the Uentroptal loop trail, and the Golddorfroute Lenne. Across from the hiking parking lot is the wading pool, which invites visitors to linger on hot summer days.
The facility belongs to the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park Association (Naturpark Sauerland Rothaargebirge e.V.) and is maintained and cared for by the association. However, if you notice any litter or damage, please let us know by emailing info@npsr.de.
