At the initiative of the local heritage and support association, the main building—constructed in 1769—was renovated and restored. The building is a symbol of Sauerland half-timbered architecture. The gable is considered one of the most stately and, in terms of artisanal and artistic finesse, most accomplished examples of the 18th century in the Sauerland region. It is an opportunity to rediscover and relive the past.
