The roof construction of the former boiler and machine house of the former Graewe & Kaiser company in Plettenberg-Eiringhausen is an arched roof formed according to the "Stephan" construction method, which was introduced in practice at the end of the 19th century as the "Stephan'sche Fachwerkbogen" or "Stephan system" as a special construction.
