The St. Agatha Chapel in Büemke was built in 1671 and is believed to have been built on the site of an even older chapel, which was first mentioned as early as 1638.
It is dedicated to Saint Agatha; Saint Blaise is its co-patron. Inside are an altar dating from 1946–47 and a carved cross by Georg Gödeke of Beisinghausen. The chapel, which is a designated historic landmark, has been renovated several times and remains an important site of faith and village history to this day.
