Meinkenbracht Planet Trail:
The Planet Trail in Meinkenbracht is perfect for a family outing. Spanning about 5.5 km, this themed trail offers fascinating insights into our universe. Starting at the Romecke hiking parking lot, you’ll hike along Trail A2 through the beautiful Romecke Valley. Informative display boards provide interesting facts about our solar system.

The A1 hiking trail runs parallel to the A2 hiking trail in the Linnepe Valley. Various springs feed the river, which gives its name to the villages along its course.

Those who dare to leave the valley and climb the Homert summit (656 m) will be rewarded with a unique view. The vista stretches across the Ebbe and Rothaar Mountains all the way to the Arnsberg Forest.
A path leading upward takes you via an access trail to the “Sauerland-Höhenflug.” The black hiking sign with the Sauerland-Höhenflug’s distinctive “H” first leads you from Meinenbracht along the A2 toward Homert. At the southernmost point of the A2 circular hiking trail, you’ll begin the ascent and continue onto the main route of the Höhenflug (H on a yellow background). The summit of Homert is signposted along the Höhenflug trail. Once you reach the top, you’ll find a summit cross, panoramic information boards, and a forest bench for a well-deserved rest before the descent.
