The old manor house in Ostwig is mentioned as early as 1200 in a document from Meschede Abbey as a feudal estate.

In 1299, Count Ludwig von Arnsberg exchanged the Gevelinghausen manor for the neighboring Ostwig manor with the abbess of Meschede Abbey. The house was converted into a two-storey manor house in 1670

and is inhabited and privately owned.
A visit is therefore not possible.
