Spring is the most beautiful time of year in the Bad Sassendorf Rhododendron Park. The first species bloom as early as April and gradually unfold their full splendor.

The six-hectare rhododendron park was created in 1987 and is home to around 40 varieties of rhododendron. One special variety even bears the name "Bad Sassendorf".
