Rahrbach cross
57399 Kirchhundem
Around 100 years ago, the procession on Trinity Day passed through the entire municipality, including Kruberg, Arnoldihof and Fahlenscheid. An important stop on this route was the Rahrbach cross. Originally, a simple oak cross adorned the place, but in 1960 it was replaced by a new cross with a corpus.
Today, the Rahrbach cross symbolizes a long tradition of devotion and is a reminder of times gone by when the community worshipped the Blessed Sacrament in festive unity. The place invites visitors to experience its spiritual atmosphere and connect with the history and faith of the region. The Rahrbach Cross stands as a silent witness to times gone by and is a place for reflection and pause.
